We want YOU to be a part of the TRANSFORMED BY:!
The project will develop till autumn 2018 with more pictures every day.
We plan an exhibition and possibly a book as a result of it all sometime in 2019.
As you might have noticed the project consists of 2 parts.
First part is what you see at the site now - a series of surrealistic photographs based on the Pet Shop Boys image. We are going to create and publish around 20-25 different images.
Second part is yet to come and will include real life portraits of actual fans and their true stories of how Pet Shop Boys changed their life.
We really want you all to take part in this project.
Please tell how you were transformed by Tennant and Lowe: may be they influenced your taste in music, helped to find a great job, made you travel to different countries, meet new people, etc.
How to take part?
1. If you travel to London ROH concerts in July.
- write at mail@mayorova.net stating your name, country, contact details and a couple of words about yourself.
- we will meet with you for approx. 15-20 minutes at the day of the performance and will photograph you. This will be a very simple clear realistic photography and you do need to dress up or prepare hard for it.
- afterwards our journalist will contact you via phone or Skype or other convenient way to take a short interview (20-30 minutes) As a result of it all we will make a short story of how Pet Shop Boys have changed and transformed your life and publish it with your photo at https://www.transformedby.me/
2. If you DO NOT travel to London ROH concerts in July but still want to participate.
- write at mail@mayorova.net stating your name, country, contact details and a couple of words about yourself. Please mention we will not be able to photograph you personally.
- we will send you a sample photo. You will find the matching pic of yourself in your archives or simply snap a photo on your mobile device according to the sample and send it back to us.
- afterwards our journalist will contact you via phone or Skype or other convenient way to take a short interview (20-30 minutes) As a result of it all we will make a short story of how Pet Shop Boys have changed and transformed your life and publish it with your photo at https://www.transformedby.me/
That is simple but it will make a great project.
